Answer Review is one of the most powerful learning tools in OT Bestie. Reviewing your mistakes turns errors into learning opportunities and reinforces correct understanding.
Why Review Matters
Studies show that reviewing incorrect answers is more valuable than just practicing new questions:
- Identify patterns - See which concepts you consistently miss
- Reinforce learning - Re-reading rationales builds deeper understanding
- Track improvement - Notice when formerly difficult questions become easy
- Fill knowledge gaps - Focus study time on actual weak areas
Make it a habit to review all incorrect answers at the end of each study session. This simple practice dramatically improves retention and exam performance.

Effective Review Strategies
Focus on Incorrect Answers
Filter to show only incorrect answers. For each one:
- Read the question again without looking at your answer
- Think about what the correct answer should be
- Compare your reasoning to the rationale
- Identify why you chose the wrong answer
Review by Domain
If your Progress Report shows low accuracy in a domain:
- Filter Answer Review to that domain
- Review all incorrect answers in that area
- Look for patterns in what you're missing
- Use Lessons to study the underlying concepts
Revisit Old Mistakes
Questions you missed weeks ago are worth reviewing again:
- If you now understand them easily, you've learned the concept
- If they're still confusing, they need more study time
- This spaced repetition strengthens long-term memory
The goal isn't to memorize correct answers - it's to understand the reasoning. On exam day, you'll see new questions. Focus on learning the "why" behind each answer.
