How to Earn Points
There are several ways to earn points as you prepare for the NBCOT®:
- Answer Questions - Earn points for each practice question you complete
- Correct Answers - Get bonus points for answering questions correctly
- Complete Lessons - Earn 500 points per day by completing your daily lesson
- Finish Tests - Complete practice tests for bonus rewards
- Reach Milestones - Hit question milestones (100, 500, 1000) for big bonuses
Complete your daily lesson to earn 500 bonus points every day! This is one of the best ways to rack up points while reinforcing your knowledge.
Viewing Your Balance
Your current points balance is displayed in the sidebar and on the Rewards page. You can see:
- Total points earned lifetime
- Available points to redeem
- Next reward threshold
- Recent point activity
Available Rewards
When you have enough points, you can redeem them for:
- Gift Boxes - Curated care packages with OT-themed goodies delivered to your door
- Study Supplies - Notebooks, pens, highlighters, and other essentials
- Surprise Drops - Special limited-time rewards that appear periodically
Redeeming Rewards
Go to Rewards Page
Click "Rewards" in the sidebar to see available options.
Choose a Reward
Browse available rewards and select one you want.
Confirm Redemption
Click "Redeem" and confirm your selection.
Receive Your Reward
Physical items ship within 5-7 business days. You'll receive tracking information via email.
Track your reward orders on the "Orders" page in the sidebar. You'll receive email updates with shipping information for physical rewards.
Points Quick Reference
- Each question answered: 10 points
- Correct answer bonus: +5 points
- Daily lesson completion: 500 points
- Complete a test: 50-200 points (based on length)
- 100 questions milestone: 250 bonus points
- 500 questions milestone: 1,000 bonus points
- 1,000 questions milestone: 2,500 bonus points
