Using the Study Plan Calendar

What the Study Plan Does

The Study Plan calendar turns your exam prep into dated tasks. It shows generated plan items, practice assignments, media or lesson items, milestones, completion states, and custom tasks you add yourself.

  • Calendar layout: Tasks are grouped by date, with week labels and a current-day marker.
  • Generated plan items: The app can place study work across the calendar based on your plan data.
  • Custom tasks: You can add your own reminders, tutoring work, links, descriptions, and color labels.
  • Completion tracking: Check off items as you finish them; days can show as complete when every item is done.

How to Work Through a Day

  1. Open Study Plan

From the dashboard, choose Study Plan in the Guidance section.

  2. Review today and nearby days

Use the calendar grid to scan what is assigned, what is complete, and what is upcoming.

  3. Launch an assignment

Select a plan card to open the relevant action. Depending on the item, the app can open practice, review, media, or plan details.

  4. Mark progress

Use the completion checkbox on an assignment when you finish it. The page saves completion back to your account.

Custom Tasks

Custom tasks are for anything you want visible on the calendar, such as reviewing a tutoring note, finishing a workbook chapter, or joining a study session.

  • Add a task from a calendar day using the custom task control.
  • Give it a title, date, optional description, optional link, color, and optional section/header.
  • Open task details later to edit, follow the saved link, mark it complete, or delete it.
  • Custom task links are normalized before saving, so web links open cleanly from the task details view.

Schedule Settings and Exam Date

The calendar includes schedule controls for planning study days and study hours. When an exam date is available, plan items can be arranged around that target. If the generated plan needs to be adjusted, use the calendar controls rather than trying to memorize a static schedule.

Best Use

Treat Study Plan as your operating calendar. Put fixed commitments and tutor assignments in custom tasks, then use completion checkboxes to keep the plan honest.

Troubleshooting

  • If a task does not open, refresh the page and try again; the calendar launches items through saved assignment metadata.
  • If a custom task does not save, check that the title and date are present.
  • If the page asks you to upgrade, the selected action is gated for your current subscription state.
